These, and additional import mappings, are found within JSON (.json) files located at <Aviation installation dir>\DataExchange\AIXM\Importer\45.

The .json files direct the AIXM 4.5 to AIS schema mapping used by the arcpyproduction.aviation.ImportAixm45 function. You can edit or extend them if necessary.

The mapping .json files are described as follows:

Purpose

Maps AIXM 4.5 features to AIS feature classes or tables.

Format

Source AIXM 4.5 element feature tag: destination AIS feature class or table.

45FieldMappings.json

Purpose

Maps AIXM 4.5 fields to AIS fields. There is one line for each AIS feature class or table with source AIXM 4.5 and destination AIS field names given in subsequent corresponding pairs as needed.

Format

Destination AIS feature class or table, source AIXM 4.5 field, destination AIS field.

Purpose

Maps AIXM 4.5 domain values to AIS domain values where there may be schema differences.

Format

Destination AIS feature class or table, AIS field name, source AIXM 4.5 domain code, destination AIS domain code.
