00088: Schematic layers don't support copying data to the server

  • Solutions
  • More information

Your map contains schematic layers. This type of layer can be copied to a server from 10.2 onward.

Solutions

  • If you are packaging your map using a desktop client that does not have 10.2 installed on it, remove the schematic layer since this type of layer is not supported for packages. This functionality is supported from 10.2 onward.
  • If you are publishing your map with a desktop client that does not have 10.2 installed on it, register the data sources for schematic layers with the server. Schematic layers support copying data to the server from 10.2 onward only.
  • If you are publishing your map on a server that does not have 10.2 installed on it, register the data sources for schematic layers with the server. A schematics service running on a server that does not have 10.2 installed on it only works if it can reference the source data of the schematic layers.

  • Alternatively, if you do not need this schematic layer, you can remove it from the document.

More information

When the schematic data source is not registered with the server, ArcGIS tries to automatically copy the layer's underlying schematic data to the server. This functionality is supported from 10.2 onward. Without it, schematic layers don't support copying data to the server. In order to successfully publish a schematic service, the data source must reference the original schematic data. The data source must be registered with the server.

For packaging schematic data, you need to install ArcGIS Desktop 10.2 on the client.

For publishing Schematics services by copying data on the server, you need to install ArcGIS Desktop 10.2 on the client and ArcGIS Server 10.2 on the server.
