00118: Query table has multiple unique identifier fields

  • Solution
  • More information

There are multiple unique identifier fields chosen for this query table, and you are attempting to publish a service with Feature Access (feature service) enabled.

Solution

Choose a single field for the query table's unique identifier.

  1. In the table of contents, right-click the query table whose query you would like to modify.
  2. Click Properties to open the Properties dialog box.
  3. Click the Source tab.
  4. Click Change query.
  5. Check the Show Advanced Options check box in the Edit Query Layer dialog box.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Choose only a single field from the Unique Identifier Field(s) field list.
  8. Click Finish.

More information

Although you can use multiple fields as unique identifiers for a query table, publishing query layers with Feature Access enabled requires that only one single field be used as the unique identifier for the layer.
