20010: Data frame uses unsupported background symbol

  • Solutions
  • More information

The data frame uses a background symbol that is not compatible with basemap layer display. This may result in some display anomalies when the map is panned or zoomed.

Solutions

  • Change the background of the data frame to a solid color.
  • Do nothing. You can accept the display anomalies while the map is panned or zoomed.

More information

Basemap layers draw continuously as you pan and zoom. Because of this, background symbols that are repeating patterns or dependent on the size and shape of the data frame cannot be displayed properly as you pan and zoom.
