24054: Place-name alias table in locator will be reset to None

  • Solution
  • More Information

If the locator you want to publish contains a place-name alias table, publishing the locator as a geocode service will set the property of the place-name alias table in the locator to None while the locator is being copied to the server. This happens when no databases or folders are registered as the server's data stores.

To learn more about managing service data in a server, see Copying data to the server automatically when publishing and Making your data accessible to ArcGIS Server.

Solution

You may remove the place-name alias table from the locator in the Address Locator Properties dialog box prior to publishing the locator.

To learn more about modifying an address locator, see Modifying an address locator's settings.

More Information

Place-name alias tables are not supported in a geocode service. It is recommended to remove the place-name alias table in the locator prior to publishing the locator.
