Previewing a report

When designing a report, it is important to be able to preview the report to determine whether the formatting and details of the report are adequately displayed.

  1. After creating a report with the Report Wizard, click the option to preview the report on the last page of the wizard.

The Report Viewer is launched and displays the current report.

  2. From the Report Viewer, you can click Edit on the toolbar to modify the report in the Report Designer. After making your changes, click the Run Report button Run Report to return to previewing the report in the viewer.
