Creats a new edit template. Use IEditor3.AddTemplate to add the template to the editor.

Parameters:

name - The name (in)

layer - A reference to a com.esri.arcgis.carto.ILayer (in)

Returns:

A reference to a com.esri.arcgis.carto.IEditTemplate

Throws:

java.io.IOException - If there are interop problems.

AutomationException - If the ArcObject component throws an exception.
