The Geodatabase toolset contains tools for importing and exporting data from different types of geodatabases.
Tool | Description |
---|---|
Exports the Multinational Geospatial Co-production Program (MGCP) metadata datasets (Cell, Subregion, and Source feature classes) to an XML file. | |
Extracts features from a source geodatabase that intersects the input area of interest features and adds them into a target geodatabase. The extracted data is then clipped to fall within the input area of interest features. For example, you can use this tool to clip data and add it to smaller databases for distribution. | |
Extracts data from an input database using selected areas of interest (AOI) and creates new databases for every AOI. | |
Exports the GeoNames features in a geodatabase to a text file. | |
Exports one or more feature classes in a geodatabase to shapefiles. | |
Loads GeoNames data into a feature class and table. The feature class is composed of point features, and the table contains fields with information concerning the naming conventions used for the features. The feature class contains the Unique Feature Identifier (UFI) and Unique Name Identifier (UNI), which match the same fields in the GeoNames table. | |
Imports Multinational Geospatial Co-production Program (MGCP) metadata into an MGCP database to perform maintenance on cells and subregions. | |
Alters a SQL Server database user to match the name of the specified schema and sets its default schema to the specified schema. This tool should be used in environments that prohibit the use of database users without associated logins and headless domain users. It allows users with appropriate database permissions to perform actions within the geodatabase that require the user to act as the data owner user. | |
Unzips and imports compressed Multinational Geospatial Co-production Program (MGCP) 1-degree-by-1-degree cell packages (*.zip) into a target geodatabase. |
