An overview of the Bathymetry toolbox

The Bathymetry toolbox contains tools for working with data in a bathymetric information system (BIS).

Toolsets in the Bathymetry toolbox

Toolset	Description
Analysis	With the Analysis toolset, you can reduce the point density of soundings or depth points.
Data Export	With the Data Export toolset, you can export points from a surface model or the metadata for datasets within a BIS workspace.
Data Management	The Data Management toolset contains a tool that allows you to create a surface model within the BIS workspace.
Data Registration	With the Data Registration toolset, you can define the properties for a bathymetry dataset by creating a bathymetry dataset properties (.bdprops) file. You can then register one or more .bdprops files to a BIS geodatabase.
