An overview of the Data Export toolset

With the Data Export toolset, you can export points from a surface model or the metadata for datasets within a BIS workspace.

Tool	Description
Create Mosaic Dataset From Model	Creates or updates a mosaic dataset from a surface model in the Bathymetric Information System (BIS) workspace.
Export BIS Metadata	Exports the metadata for datasets within a Bathymetric Information System (BIS) workspace.
Export Deconflicted Footprints	Exports nonoverlapping polygon features representing the deconflicted data area of each source dataset in a surface model.
Export Footprints	Exports the detailed data area for each source dataset in a Bathymetric Information System (BIS) or surface model to a polygon feature class.
Export Points	Exports point features from a point surface model created in the Compose Surface window in ArcGIS Bathymetry.
