BSB

BSB is an export format used by some hydrographic offices in the production of Raster Nautical Charts (RNCs). BSB exports consist of two types of files—a documentation file, or header file, and an image file. The ArcGIS for Maritime: Charting supports version 3.0.7 of the BSB Format.

The topics in this section will describe how to add BSB-specific information to map elements, or notes, so that they may be viewed as links in a BSB viewer. It will also describe how to create links between notes and a geographic location in the panel, or kapp, as well as explain the BSB export process.
