ML Classify function

Overview

The ML Classify function allows you to perform a supervised classification, using the maximum likelihood classification algorithm, on a raster dataset or mosaic dataset. This function requires a classification signature file.

License:

This function requires the ArcGIS Spatial Analyst extension to be enabled.

Notes

If you only have the string information for the signatures, you first need to put the string information into a .gsg signature file.

Parameters

ParametersDescription

Input Raster

The input raster to classify using the maximum likelihood classification algorithm.

Signature File/URL

The .gsg signature file.
