The Cartography toolset provides functionality that creates cartographic data for use in ArcGIS Defense Mapping products.

Toolsets	Description
Banding	The Banding toolset contains tools that generate polygon bands for use in cartographic elements in defense mapping products.
Cartographic Refinement	The Cartographic Refinement toolset contains tools that help manage representations and symbols for buildings, bridges, spot heights, and other features.
Grids and Graticules	The Grids and Graticules toolset contains tools that create grids and graticules layers.
Map Document	The Map Document toolset contains tools that help you create product specific map documents and update graphic elements on maps.
Symbology	The Symbology toolset contains tools that help manage visualization specifications used in ArcGIS Defense Mapping products.
