An overview of the Utilities toolset

These utility scripts visualize the variables that are stored in the space-time cube in 2D and 3D. These tools can be used to understand the structure of the cube, how the cube aggregation process works, and also to visualize the patterns over time at specific locations of interest. These tools were designed to be used in conjunction with the other tools in the Space Time Pattern Mining toolbox.

Note:

To visualize the space-time cube in 3D, you must use either ArcGlobe or ArcGIS Pro. For optimal 3D visualization, ArcGIS Pro is recommended.

ToolDescription

Visualize Space Time Cube in 2D

Visualizes the variables stored in a netCDF cube and the results generated by the Space Time Pattern Mining tools. Output from this tool is a two-dimensional representation uniquely rendered based on the variable and theme chosen.

Visualize Space Time Cube in 3D

Visualizes the variables stored in a netCDF cube created with the Space Time Pattern Mining tools. Output from this tool is a three-dimensional representation uniquely rendered based on the variable and theme chosen.
