An Overview of the Setup Territory Solution Toolset

Available with Business Analyst license.

The Setup Territory Solution toolset provides a set of tools to set up, modify, and manage territories in a variety of ways. This toolset allows user to build territory hierarchy, manage external variables, setup barriers and constraints, and define territory extents.

Add Territory Level	Adds a new territory level to the selected territory hierarchy.
Import Variables by Attribute Join	Joins external variables to the Territory Solution by attribute intersection.
Import Variables by Spatial Join	Joins external variables to the Territory Solution by spatial intersection.
Remove Solution Extent	Removes the Extent from the Territory Solution.
Setup Level Balancing Variables	Allows the setup of level balancing variables.
Setup Level Capacity Constraints	Allows the setup of capacity constraints at a specified level.
Setup Level Distance Constraints	Allows the setup of distance constraints at the specified level.
Setup Level Territory Shape Parameters	Allows the setup of parameter levels to create or balance territories.
Setup Solution Barriers	Allows the setup of Solution Barriers for a territory solution.
Setup Solution Extent by Boundary of Layer	Allows the setup of a Territory Extent by using the boundary of a polygonal layer.
Setup Solution Extent by Current Map View	Sets up the Territory Extent by using the extent of the current map view.
Setup Solution Extent by Current Selection	Sets up the Territory Extent by using the current selection on the active map.
Setup Solution Restricted Areas	Allows the setup of Solution Restriction Areas.
