Export Boundaries And Variables

Available with Business Analyst license.

Summary

Exports data and geometries to an external feature class.

Usage

  • The Territory Level must be at format: Level_Name[Level_Index]

  • The Feature class must be one of following types: shape file (SHP), Personal Geo database (MDB), Geo database (GDB)

  • There is an option to select any summarized field, Including: Summary, Maximum, Minimum, Average, Median, Standard Deviation, and Percent of Total. These summarized fields represent the apportioned data within a Territory.

Syntax

arcpy.td.ExportBoundariesAndVariables(in_territory_solution_layer, in_level, out_features, {in_variables}, {in_geometry_type})

in_territory_solution_layer

The Territory Solution layer whose data is to be exported.

GP TD Layer
in_level

The Territory level to export.

out_features

The Feature Class to which territories are exported.

in_variables
[in_variables,...]
(Optional)

The Territory Level Variables that are to be exported.

GP Value Table
in_geometry_type
(Optional)

The Geometry type of the features that are to be exported. It should be specified for point-based Alignment Layers.

  • MULTIPOINT —Points will be exported
  • POLYGON —Thiessen polygons, that are built from points, will be exported
