Export Data And Territories

Available with Business Analyst license.

Summary

Exports a Territory Database and Alignment Layer records to an external feature class.

Exporting a territory alignment layer is helpful, especially if you have joined attributes from another database.

Usage

• The Feature class must be one of following types: shape file (SHP), Personal Geo database (MDB), Geo database (GDB)

Syntax

arcpy.td.ExportDataAndTerritories(in_territory_solution_layer, out_features, {in_fields}, {in_geometry_type})

Parameter	Explanation	Data Type
in_territory_solution_layer	The Territory Solution layer whose data is to be exported.	GP TD Layer
out_features	The type of Feature Class to which the Territories are exported.	Feature Class
in_fields (Optional)	The Fields to export.	GP Value Table
in_geometry_type (Optional)	The Geometry type of the features that are to be exported. It should be specified for point-based Alignment Layers MULTIPOINT —Points will be exported POLYGON —Thiessen polygons, that are built from points, will be exported	Boolean
