Running the setup.exe provides a fully localized installation experience. The setup.exe is a bootstrapper executable that will run the main product setup.msi and then run the language pack setup.msi as a secondary installation. For example, if you run the setup.exe for the latest version of ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Desktop Spanish, both the Desktop English setup and Spanish language pack setup will be installed. Additional language packs must be installed separately.
ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Desktop supports the following languages:
- Chinese
- Italian
- Russian
- Spanish
- Turkish
Upgrading a previous version of a localized ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Desktop setup
Running the setup.exe for a localized 10.8.2 setup will upgrade both the main product installation and the language pack installation.
If you have a localized version of ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Desktop installed and run the upgrade for the English 10.8.2 setup, only the core Workflow Manager (Classic) installation will be upgraded. The earlier language pack will be retained in the original installation location and will not be functional. When the 10.8.2 language pack is available, run its setup to upgrade the language pack to 10.8.2. If ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Desktop exists, running the setup.exe for a localized installation will display the maintenance dialog box. Cancel this setup to continue with just the language pack installation.
