Desktop
Your computer must meet minimum system requirements to install ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Desktop.
The ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Desktop version must match the ArcGIS Desktop version, with the Desktop Standard or Desktop Advanced license level, that is installed on your machine. ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Desktop has the same system requirements as ArcGIS Desktop.

Database requirement
The Workflow Manager system requires an enterprise geodatabase to support the central jobs repository.

Server
Your computer must meet these minimum system requirements to install ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Server.
The ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Server version must match the ArcGIS Server version, with the ArcGIS Server Standard or ArcGIS Server Advanced license level, that is installed on your machine.
ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Server has the same system requirements as ArcGIS Server.
