Increasing the space between rows in reports

Adjust the row spacing when you want to increase or decrease the vertical distance between records in the report.

  1. Open a report in the Report Designer.
  2. Click on the Details section of the report.
  3. Change the Height property in the Element Properties grid to the value you want in page units.

    The height of the details section can be changed manually by dragging the PageFooter section lower on the report layout.

    Inches are the default page unit. To change the page units, open the Report Settings dialog box by double-clicking settings in the Report Section tree. Click Global Settings and change the Ruler Settings property from the available list of units.
