Error in debug log file

<time> (ARCGIS) The System Clock has been set back to the past.
<time> (ARCGIS) This is not allowed!
<time> (ARCGIS) daemon shutdown requested - shutting down
<time> (lmgrd) SHUTDOWN request from SYSTEM at node SERVER
<time> (lmgrd) lmgrd will now shut down all the vendor daemons
<time>(lmgrd) Shutting down ARCGIS

Causes

  • The system date, time, or time zone is set incorrectly.
  • The files on your system have a newer creation date than the current time.

Solution

  • Check the system clock settings. Ensure that the date, time, and time zone correspond with the client machine. Licenses may need to be repaired on the License Manager. If this is the case, the License Server Administrator will prompt for a repair upon opening the program.

Windows 7 and above

Click the clock in the system task bar and select Change date and time settings. Select Change date and time, and modify the date and time to the correct value. Click OK and then OK again.
